Don't Tell Me

This week (particularly yesterday) has been a week of having to sit and listen to what I don't want to hear.

"I'm sorry, you missed your appointment."

"What's really wrong here [with your son] is a lack of any kind of work ethic."

"We need this information immediately."

"[Your son] needs to fit in more, then there won't be these problems with the other children."

"This isn't correct. You need to redo this."

"[Your son] just has to learn to take it and get along, that's the way life is."

"Please come down to my office."

"This is going to really hurt."

"No, I didn't do anything for dinner."

So I've been juggling eggs and I seem to have dropped them all....Anyone for an omelet?
